# Content

> Create, review, and manage content briefs and articles—then publish and measure impact.

## What this is

Your content production hub:

* List of briefs/articles

* Brief editor (strategy + outline)

* Article generation + editing

* AI refinement + history

## Why it matters

* It connects opportunities to publishable content.

* It ensures briefs are aligned to **target prompts** and **citation sources**.

* It creates an audit trail (what changed and why).

## Where to find it

**Action → Content**

## How it works

* Each row represents an opportunity turned into a brief/article workflow.

* Typical statuses/actions:

  * **View brief**

  * **Generate article**

  * **Review content**

  * **Researching**

  * **Add context**

## How to use it

1. Open Content and use **Filters** to find your newest items.

2. Click **View brief** to review the strategy and outline.

3. Review the right rail:

   * **Target Prompts**

   * **Citations**

4. Click **Generate article** when ready.

5. Edit the article in the editor (add proof, examples, comparisons).

6. Use the AI refinement box to request changes (tone, structure, SEO, etc.).

7. Use **History** to review changes and keep a record.

8. Click **Copy** to publish in your CMS.

9. After publishing, measure impact in **Home** and **Prompt Analytics**.

## How to interpret results

* If Target Prompt % is low → the brief may not match the query → adjust structure and headers to align to the prompt.

* If citations are mostly competitor/social → your article needs stronger primary/owned sources → add citeable sections and schema.

* If you can’t “Generate article” → it may be in Researching/Add context → provide missing inputs first.

* If content is strong but visibility doesn’t move → distribution/off-page may be the constraint → use Off-page Outreach/Engage.

* If edits improve sentiment but not rank → you’re solving narrative, not trust → check citations.

## Common questions / troubleshooting

* “What does ‘Add context’ mean?” → Meridian needs extra inputs (brand facts, constraints, angles) before generating.

* “Where do Target Prompts come from?” → from the opportunity’s underlying prompt gaps and your tracked library.

* “Why does History show ‘Content Updated’?” → it logs changes (manual edits + AI refinement).
