# Opportunities

> The highest-impact content opportunities to get cited and recommended more by AI platforms.

## What this is

A prioritized list of content opportunities (listicles, how-tos, comparisons, guides) with actions like **Generate brief**, **Create article**, or **Review content**.

## Why it matters

* This is the fastest way to turn insights (citations + gaps) into content that wins.

* It focuses effort where AI is already citing competitors.

* It reduces guesswork: Meridian suggests what to create next.

## Where to find it

**Action → Opportunities**

## How it works

* Meridian analyzes citations across your tracked prompts.

* It identifies content gaps where competitors are cited and you are missing.

* It ranks opportunities by expected impact (High/Medium/Low).

Caption: Meridian analyzes citations → finds gaps → creates a brief.

## How to use it

1. Open **Opportunities** and scan for **High** priority cards.

2. Click **Generate brief** (or **Create article**, depending on the card).

3. Wait for the brief generation steps to complete.

4. Go to **Action → Content** and open the created brief.

5. Generate the article, then edit and publish.

## How to interpret results

* If an opportunity is High → it maps to prompts with strong citation demand → do it first.

* If you see “Review content” → you likely have content, but it needs structure/trust updates.

* If you keep getting the same topic suggestions → your coverage is thin → build a topic cluster.

* If you generate briefs but don’t see impact → you may not be publishing on a citeable page (or citations are off-page dominated).

* If opportunities are low relevance → adjust prompts/topics/competitor set; your tracked universe drives suggestions.

## Common questions / troubleshooting

* “Why did it take time to generate?” → it’s analyzing citations and identifying gaps across prompt data.

* “Where is my brief?” → check **Action → Content** and filter by created date.

* “Why can I decline?” → use Decline to remove irrelevant opportunities and keep the list clean.
